APOLLIS CARE

Apollis Care has its own client council that represents the common interests of clients. The client council includes clients of Apollis who can advocate for the interests of all clients. The clients in the client council speak Arabic, English, Dutch, Kurdish, and Turkish.

The management of our organization takes into account the advice of the client council when making important decisions. The client council has the following rights:

• Right to information necessary for the performance of its tasks.
• Right to consultation with the management regarding the institution’s policies.
• Right to provide advice to the management (Government of the Netherlands n.d.). Client participation is regulated by the Law on Client Participation (Wmcz).

This law promotes client participation in the field of social care and healthcare (Government of the Netherlands, n.d.).
